This winter, 28 thematic exhibition halls take part in the fair, in which various products are presented, including souvenirs, handicrafts, jewelry, carpets, crystal and porcelain, fabrics, furniture and lamps, and even dishes of national cuisine from 40 countries of the world. For the first time, countries such as Spain and Tunisia are participating in Global Village.
This season has become a special season for Global Village, as it coincided with the celebration of the 40th anniversary of UAE National Day, which is dedicated to numerous celebrations, concerts and fireworks. Recall, the state of the United Arab Emirates was founded on December 2, 1971.

On weekends and holidays, this place of family recreation gathered a record number of visitors - up to 165 thousand people a day. Also last year, more than 15 different performances and shows were held on the territory of the "village", some of which were first presented in the Middle East. Among them are acrobatic and sports performances, concerts of dance groups and musical groups from Georgia, Cuba and Sri Lanka, as well as vibrant carnival processions and fireworks.
In addition to entertainment, more than 10 thousand employees worked in Global Village in 30 different pavilions from 45 countries. They sold more than 2500 items of goods representing different countries and cultures, as well as cuisine from 25 countries of the world. In the 15th season, the debut of two new pavilions: Cambodian and Islamic. In the latter, the Islamic Museum was operating for the first time, which was of particular interest to the guests of Global Village. As expected, in the current anniversary year for the UAE, the fair will break all attendance records. "
Recall that geographically Global Village is located on the Emirates Road (Exit 37). Hours of its work: daily from 16.00 to midnight, and on holidays and weekends - until 01.00 at night. On Mondays, entry to the village is permitted only for vacationers with families and women. You can have a great time bypassing the numerous pavilions and attractions of the "village", and have a good meal in more than 25 international restaurants. For the convenience of guests, ATMs are located throughout the Global Village, there is a room for "lost children", a medical center and a police station.
