The ruler of Dubai went to one of his meetings in the general car of the Dubai metro

Sheikh Mohammed, vice president, prime minister of the UAE and ruler of Dubai, used the metro on the way to one of his official meetings. On a page on the social network Facebook Sheikh Mohammed posted his photo, which was taken during his trip in the subway car. The caption read: "Yesterday I used the Dubai Metro to get to the place of one of my meetings. I urge all UAE residents living in the emirate and visiting Dubai to use its developed public transport system."

The Facebook photo of Sheikh Dubai using the metro services was approved by more than two thousand unique network users in the first 30 minutes from the moment of posting. More than 300 users have left comments expressing their approval and admiration for the ruler of Dubai.

Recall that the long-awaited "green" line of the Dubai Metro was opened by Sheikh Mohammed on September 9 of this year. During the first 20 days of operation, 1.27 million passengers took advantage of its services. According to Mattar Al Thayer, chairman and chief executive officer of the Dubai Roads and Transport Committee, in September this year, 4,661,469 passengers used the services of the red metro line, bringing the total number of people on the red and green lines this month to 6 million people.
