Aston Martin V12 Zagato the result of 50 years of cooperation

The magnificent tandem of the British car manufacturing company Aston Martin and the Italian designer car studio Zagato presented its next development - Aston Martin V12 Zagato. These companies already have some very successful collaborations, but the latest of them is simply amazing. The creation of this car is dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the union of the two companies.

The new supercar is based on the production Aston Martin V12 Vantage coupe, but has a lighter body made of aluminum. The car is driven by a 6-liter V12 engine, whose power is 517 liters. with. when using a 6-speed automatic transmission. To 100 km / h, the V12 Zagato accelerates in less than 4 seconds.

Engineers worked on the novelty under the guidance of the creator of Aston Martin One-77 - Chris Porritt. The body is entirely made of aluminum, with each of the front wings made by hand from seven pieces of metal, and the roof from five. As a result, we got an elegant and courageous car that can be considered both a racing car and a production sedan. The release of this model will be limited to 100 copies. The official debut of the new Aston Martin V12 Zagato took place in May 2011.
