Box Appeal has been running for the fourth year in a row. This year, ten Rezidor Group hotels in the United Arab Emirates, Oman, Egypt and Bahrain take part in it. Seven hotels Radisson Blu and Park Inn, located in the UAE, plan to collect 10 thousand boxes with such necessary items in everyday life, such as toothpaste, shaving cream, t-shirts, hats.
To take part in the Box Appeal promotion, it is enough to take one of the boxes with a list of items at any Radisson Blu or Park Inn hotel in Dubai, Abu Dhabi or Sharjah, stock it and then return the box to the hotel.
The growing success of the Box Appeal charity campaign attracted the attention of the North55 design studio, who developed a new promotion logo that should reflect the essence of the appeal. Studio North55 is not the only local company that has provided its time and opportunities for better coverage of Box Appeal. This year, a charity campaign for collecting household items is also supported by the radio stations Radio 1 and Radio 2 of the news agency Gulf News Broadcasting.
Box Appeal was first held at the Radisson Blu Hotel Dubai, Media City. The first season of the campaign was very successful, which prompted the following years to join it the Radisson Blu and Park Inn hotels on the island of Yas off the coast of the emirate of Abu Dhabi. Over the three years the Box Appeal campaign has been in existence, more than 20 thousand boxes of everyday items have been collected - in the monetary equivalent of 2 million dirhams (US $ 544 thousand).
