Dubai will open a new golf course

The general developer of a large-scale project in Dubai, The Meydan City, held a ceremony in mid-December to launch the new Meydan Golf Course, which will be open to the public in the fall of 2011.

The event was attended by representatives of the Commonwealth of Golfers of Dubai, the tourism industry, international organizations and companies, local and foreign media, who were welcomed by Mohammed Abdul Nasser Al Hayyat, Commercial Director of Meydan City Corporation. The Meydan Golf Course will have nine holes. Its design was carried out by the famous designer Peter Harradin. Several old elements from the Nad Al Sheba golf course remained on the site and new obstacles were created that would be interesting to overcome for both beginners and professionals.
