In the United Arab Emirates, air traffic increased by 12%

Air traffic in the United Arab Emirates increased in July this year by 11.9%. The total number of aircraft that flew over the UAE was 55 thousand in July compared to 52 thousand in June, the UAE Civil Aviation Administration said. Thus, July is still the month with the richest air traffic in 2010 - 1763 flights per day.

The largest number of flights was made in Dubai, there were 24,961 recorded there. The number of flights over the waters of the Persian Gulf was 11,924. The capital emirate ranks third - 8045 flights, Sharjah International Airport - fourth, 5600 flights.

The overall indicator of flights between the country's airports is in fifth place, there were 3414 in total. Air travel at Fujairah International Airport reached 404 flights, 210 and 75 flights respectively were recorded at Al Ain and Ras Al Khaimah airports during the above period .

In the new Dubai airport - Al Maktoum International Airport, opened at the end of June this year, seven flights of cargo liners were completed.
