Dubai Duty Free sales up 21% in the first quarter of this year

Sales in Dubai Duty Free stores rose 21% in the first quarter of 2010 compared to the same period in 2009.

In the first quarter, sales of confectionery products increased by 20% and reached 87 million dirhams (US $ 23.7 million), electronic goods - by 15% and reached 80 million dirhams (US $ 21.8 million), wall and wrist watches - by 41%
