The winner of the Dubai International Drone Championship will receive $ 1 million.
Dubai, UAE. The grand prize of the world's first international drone championship, or drone race, will be $ 1 million. The unique World Drone Prix Dubai 2016 competitions will take place on March 11 and 12 in Dubai, in the Skydive Dubai complex. The participation of more than 100 teams that have already qualified for tournaments in the USA, South Korea, Germany and China is expected.
In flight, drones will reach speeds of up to 100 km / h. Prizes will be awarded in 19 categories, including for the best acrobatic stunts, the best free flight and the best designer. The winner will be determined by popular vote.
