At the end of November of the outgoing year, the largest Swiss watch retailer in the Middle East - Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons, together with the Kempinski Hotel, Mall of the Emirates and the Dubai Autism Center held a joint campaign for children and their parents, in which they invited the famous Chef Ramsey Nadim Shuery. Chef Ramsey, a native of Lebanon, well-known in all countries of the Middle East region, thanks to his famous cookbooks and the television show "Chef Ramsey Around the World" on Future TV, held a unique master class with the children from the Dubai Autism Center. During this culinary event, held at the Kempinski Hotel’s Sezzame Restaurant, children of different ages, under the supervision of chef Ramsey, learned to bake festive cookies and prepare other simple but very tasty and beautiful dishes.
Given the characteristics of a disease such as autism, which usually affects the verbal and social communicative abilities of a person, Chef Ramsey’s fun and informative master class allowed his parents to discern new talents in their children that many of them were not even aware of.
Recall that the Dubai Autism Center was established in 2001 by decree of the ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons, founded in 1968, today is known for numerous charitable events that support the life of the emirate’s society.
