In the category of up to 70 kg, the vacant WBl Middle East champion title was won by Shahbulat Shamkhalaev, beating Saadi from Akhmed (Kamikaze), a fighter from Tunisia. Ahmed, who began his career in Thailand, showed a typically Thai manner of boxing, suddenly “breaking in” from the rack, hoping to injure or knock out with one strong and accurate blow. Shakhbulat, as a typical representative of the Russian school, on the contrary moved a lot and tried to deliver a series of blows, not counting on one. In the last rounds, Ahmed was tired and no longer “exploded”. Good fight. The judges gave the victory to Shahbulat, who “tapped” the Tunisian.

During all the battles, six drummer musicians created the background sound, boosting the pace towards the end of each round.

For the WBl Middle East title in the 80kg category, Lebanese Abdullah Abu Hamdan and Iranian Wahid Mahdawi met. An equal battle, which, however, was more like a fight than Thai boxing. Athletes from the very beginning did not think about points awarded, but tried to knock out each other. After Abdullah received a cut, and Wahid, after fighting in a clinch, was thrown out of the ring, the battle continued with even greater bitterness of both athletes. The judges awarded the victory to the Lebanese.

All evening the referee in the ring was Magomed Suleymanov, whose professionalism was not neglected by the tournament supervisor and Bob Schreiber. The audience was literally electrified when the most interesting fights of the heavyweights began. This spectacle did not leave any of the spectators calm, everyone experienced an adrenaline rush, watching the fights of the tournament’s most powerful fighters. Previously announced Faisel Baker (New Zealand) and Jafar Ahmadi (Iran) were replaced by fighters from the Netherlands - Evert Fight and Roger Pinas. The heavyweight title fight for the Middle East was sanctioned by two professional versions of WBl and WMc. Athlete from Dagestan Ramazan (Executioner) Ramazanov became the owner of the belts of both versions, defeating the Dutchman Evert (Black Dragon) Veit from the team Bob Schreiber. The Dutchman started very tough, but Ramadan was better in the clinch and in the first round with three elbows knocked Evert down. This affected the further course of the battle, Evert became afraid of the “logging” with the Dagestan and was no longer firmly moving on his feet. Further, Ramadan dictated the course of the fight, demonstrating almost the entire technical arsenal of Thai boxing, knocked out an opponent in the fourth round. On the fourth of December last year, Ramadan won the S-1 tournament among heavyweights in the battles dedicated to the celebration of the birthday of the King of Thailand. Ramadan is also the World Champion in Thai Boxing according to WMc. After the first, having received the instructions of his seconds, Jamal began to work with the less tall Pinas at a distance, meeting him with his knees, and straight lines that often hit the target, as a result, having visited the flooring for the third time, the Dutchman was no longer able to continue the fight. Makhachkala resident Jamall Kasumov, became the champion of the Middle East in two versions of WBl and WMc, winning by knockout in the fifth round. This athlete has all the makings in order to win larger titles over time. Not so long ago, Jamal signed contracts for participation in 2007 in European K-1 tournaments.

Each of the newly-minted Middle East champions according to WBl, having left the ring, was surrounded by children who asked to leave autographs on the tournament program, and with which, unlike adults, security guards could not cope with the tournament.
