Mohammed Alabbar, Chairman of the Board of Directors, Emaar Properties.

Mohammed Alabbar, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Emaar Properties, is also a member of the Executive Committee of Dubai, the supreme authority uniting all the successful enterprises of the emirate.

Alabbar is also the founder of the Arab Business Council, which was organized under the leadership of the World Economic Forum. Euromoney magazine recognized Alabbar as one of the 5 Arab, of the 50 most successful world leaders, and in the ranking of the 50 most influential Arabs, according to Arabian Business magazine for 2006, Alabbar took 6th place.

Graduate of the Department of Business and Finance Management at the University of Seattle (1981); Alabbar initially worked with the Central Bank of the UAE, and then worked for five years in the Republic of Singapore, in the Al Khaleej Investments company owned by the Dubai government, as director and general manager.
