A worker in the emirate of Ras Al Khaimah died in an accident at a construction site.
A worker died after a mound of sand fell on him at a construction site in the emirate of Ras Al Khaimah, UAE, on Tuesday, November 21.
A 30-year-old man of Asian descent worked with two colleagues at the age of 25 and 30 when the incident occurred.
Muhammad Al Zaabi, director of the civil defense department in Ras Al Khaimah, said two workers were slightly injured and a third was found dead.
"The team managed to save two workers, later it turned out that the third worker was left under the rubble," Al Zaabi said.
The case was referred to the competent authorities to investigate the incident.
