Emirate of Sharjah provides free parking during national holidays.
From Thursday, November 30 to Sunday, December 3, all public parking spaces in the emirate of Sharjah, UAE, will be free to celebrate National Day, Sharjah Municipality announced.
The tariff will again be the same from Monday, December 4, the municipality added.
Ali Ahmed Abu Ghazi, director of the public parking department, said the free parking decision covers all areas of Sharjah. The initiative is aimed at creating a festive atmosphere and providing comfort and happiness for the residents of the city and its visitors.
The public sector in the UAE will have four days off, while the private sector will have three, starting this Thursday, November 30th.
