Two people lost in the mountains of the emirate of Fujairah, UAE, were rescued by the police. Emirates traveled in a mountainous area. At some point, they parked the car and got out of it to find the right direction. However, they not only could not establish the route, but also lost the place where they left their car.
Hamid Mohammed Humayd Al-Yamahi, Fujairah Police Director of Operations, said the service received a request and contacted Al Mariah police station to begin the rescue operation. The rescue team and patrol advanced to the scene. They managed to find men who, fortunately, did not suffer.
The Director General called on the public to exercise caution when traveling in mountainous areas and valleys due to the terrain. He said that people should take the necessary precautions, for example, to have navigation devices with them.
