The new Warner Bros World theme park in Abu Dhabi has unveiled a list of attractions.
Dubai, UAE. One of the most anticipated projects in the UAE's entertainment industry, an indoor theme park dedicated to the Warner Bros. brand, will open its doors to visitors this summer. The full list of park attractions is still kept secret, but it is already known that it will be one of the largest indoor parks in the world (more than 150 thousand square meters). The space will be divided into six different zones, each of which will represent its own interactive “world”. In total, 29 attractions are planned in the park, inspired by the stories of characters from DC Comics and Warner Bros.
When guests enter the park, the first thing they see will be Warner Bros Plaza, an art deco mini-city created in the image of Hollywood from the Golden Era. Here, visitors can stroll through the cozy streets, have a bite to eat in one of the many restaurants, and in the evening see a theatrical show of one of the most famous cartoon characters - Bucks Bunny. It is from Warner Bros Plaza that the guests of the park will go to one of the exciting comic worlds: Superman's homeland - Metropolis, the city of Batman Gotham City, the World of cartoon characters Cartoon Junction, the town of Bedrock to the Flintstones family or Dynamite Gulch Canyon.
More recently, it became known exactly what attractions will be available to visitors to the cities of Metropolis and Cartoon Junction.
Metropolis
Stepping behind the Warner Bros. Arch Plaza guests of the park will fall into the bright, shimmering city of Metropolis. Known as the "City of the Future" and having its prototype Manhattan skyscraper city, Metropolis will appear before visitors in all its splendor. As for the heroes, this city is under the permanent protection of such characters as Superman and other representatives of the Justice League (Wonder Woman, Flash, Green Lantern, Aquaman and Martian hunter).
One of the attractions here is called Superman 360: Battle for Metropolis (Superman 360: Battle for Metropolis) and is a breathtaking adventure that guests of the park will travel with Superman to defeat evil. Fans of vivid special effects should look into the Justice Hall, the headquarters of the Justice League, where the Justice League: Warworld Attacks attraction will be opened for enthusiasts. Together with the heroes, it will be necessary to repulse the attack on the galaxy and completely plunge into the cycle of events, then taking off, then falling, dodging enemy attacks and making their own.
Another unusual attraction of the city of Metropolis will appear before visitors in the form of a “flying theater” with a 4D effect. Thanks to the multi-level effect of immersion, Green Lantern: Galactic Odyssey will take courageous guests into outer space to meet unknown worlds. And at the Teen Titans Training Academy site, children and adults will be able to demonstrate their physical superpowers along with the legendary Young Titans.
World of Cartoon Characters Cartoon Junction
Little visitors will be happy to be in the World of Cartoon Characters called Cartoon Junction. Here, children will meet characters from the animated series "Mad Melodies" and the characters of the American animation studio Hanna-Barbera - Scooby-Doo, Tom and Jerry, and many others.
In the Cartoon Junction family zone, nine attractions will be collected not only for children, but also for adults who remained children in the shower. The Tom and Jerry Swiss Cheese Spin attraction will be located in the very center of the site. Passengers on this rollercoaster will embark on a fun "pursuit of cheese" full of turns and unexpected turns. Scooby-Doo The Museum of Mysteries is inviting you to go hunting for ghosts, where guests will find themselves in a mystical car and follow Scooby in an attempt to solve funny puzzles and learn the secrets of the museum.
Here you can also ride on the Ani-Mayhem slide, participate with Bucks Bunny in an impromptu performance of Meet Bugs! (and Daffy), ride the Cartoon Junction Carousel carousel, visit the ACME Factory Ricochet amusement ride, or start the Racin 'with Taz.
In each zone, guests can also visit restaurants and buy souvenirs in shops with themed products.
