The world's largest female-only airplane flies from Dubai

Emirates from the United Arab Emirates has formed a crew to operate the world's largest single-woman aircraft.

On the eve of International Women's Day, Emirates from the UAE completed a transatlantic flight, completely managed by a team of women. By this, the carrier wanted to emphasize that women are able to perform tasks even in the area where male employees predominate.

A special flight, the EK 225, flew thousands of miles from Dubai to San Francisco with over 75 women from over 25 nationalities. The flight was called "Super Women Flight." He was served by the world's largest passenger aircraft. At the helm of the pilots were Canadian Patricia Bischoff and British Rebecca Lugid.

The crew was led by Veronika Formela from Poland. Flight service from and to was done only by women. As shown in the video demonstrating flight preparation, all involved professionals — technicians, engineers, dispatchers, maintenance personnel, and security personnel — were all women.

The cooperation of more than 75 women from different countries reflects the diversity of representatives of different nationalities in the staff of the Emirates Group.

The company employs about 1150 women-emirates in various fields, including senior and executive posts. Almost half (40 percent) of the employees at Emirates are women. Women carry out more than 20 percent of all managerial and managerial functions.
