UAE residents expect Eid Al Fitr to be celebrated on June 15

Dubai, UAE. The International Astronomical Center is awaiting the advent of the new month of Chaval on the night of June 15. Thus, Friday this week will be the first day of the Islamic holiday of Eid Al Fitr, which marks the end of the holy month of Ramadan and Muslim fasting.

Experts explained that the new crescent will be clearly visible with a telescope in eastern Europe and Southeast Asia, while on the Arabian Peninsula it will be difficult to see it with the naked eye.

Meanwhile, the inhabitants of the Arab countries will expect the appearance of a crescent moon and look for it in the clear sky. As expected, in the sky above Abu Dhabi, the new moon will come out 41 minutes after sunset.
