A citizen of the United Arab Emirates is about to celebrate Flag Day by decorating his house with thousands of flags.
In honor of Flag Day last year, Humeid Obaid Ali Ali from the Emirate of Umm Al Quwain, UAE, decorated his house with 60 thousand flags. This year he is going to set a personal record and decorate his home with 100 thousand flags.
Humeid adorns every corner of his house for a week with his family and assistants.
"This year I plan to hang more flags - up to 100 thousand - to demonstrate my respect, love and devotion to my beloved country and wise leaders," he said.
Humeyd also distributes flags to all comers. Last year, he provided 30 thousand flags, and this year he plans to give out 50 thousand.
Flag Day in the UAE is celebrated on November 3.
