Robots start cleaning metro stations in Dubai

Cleaning robots set about cleaning Dubai metro stations.

Dubai, UAE. The Dubai Committee for Roads and Transport brought the first robots to clean the metro stations. Testing of new equipment controlled by artificial intelligence took place at Union metro station.

As tests have shown, the robot cleans more efficiently than humans, and, in addition, spends less water on cleaning. It can be programmed for different cleaning modes. Such robots practically do not need an operator during operation.

The devices are equipped with sensors that can prevent collisions and move in a given direction, avoiding obstacles. The height of the robot is 128 cm, it can carry up to 90 liters of water.
