Sochi is first presented at the Arabian Travel Market in Dubai.
Dubai, UAE. Sochi's tourist attractions are first presented at the Arabian Travel Market 2019, an international travel exhibition held in Dubai from April 26 to May 1.
The collective stand of the Russian resort city demonstrates the services of the WOW Sochi tourist alliance, the Gorki Gorod mountain resort, the Krasnaya Polyana entertainment zone, Sochi International Airport and the Travel Center travel agency.
Asiet Zhukova, vice president of the WOW Sochi alliance, said that the company’s strategy for 2019-2020 includes the promotion of Sochi as a travel destination for tourists from the Middle East region. The project is implemented with the support of the Sochi city administration and Visit Russia national tourist office.
Sochi offers tours starting at US $ 300 for three days with accommodation in hotels of 4 and 5 star categories, including hotels of the international Radisson chain and the five-star Rodina spa resort, with direct flights from Dubai to Sochi with flydubai flights.
"The resort city offers all kinds of family and active leisure, a variety of entertainment and various sports - from skiing on modern slopes and extreme racing on the Formula 1 track to a relaxing wellness stay in the sanatoriums of the Russian health resort and relaxing with children in the entertainment center Sochi Park, said Asiet Zhukova.
The representative of the alliance said that the resort is actively preparing to receive Muslim tourists and provide them with halal services. There is also a mobile concierge application in Sochi hotels that can serve tourists in Arabic. Within the framework of the exhibition, numerous negotiations and signing of agreements with local tour operators sending tourists abroad are planned.
