In Dubai, a firefighter died in a fire in a building under construction.

In Dubai, a firefighter died while extinguishing a burning skyscraper in the Business Bay area on Saturday, June 29, 2019.

The fire reportedly started in the morning on the lower parking levels of the building under construction in the Marasi Drive quarter, smoke quickly spreading throughout the building and was visible from many areas of the city.

Settlements from the three nearest stations left for the scene of the fire. Corporal Tarik Abdullah Ali Alhavai, who died in the liquidation of the fire, took part in the elimination of the fire as part of the fire brigade of Satwa station.

Dubai Civil Defense Committee expresses condolences to the family of the deceased. Later, the Crown Prince of the Emirate of Dubai, Sheikh Hamdan bin Muhammad Al Maktoum, joined in the condolences.
