Hatta will become a regional center of ecotourism in 2018.
The scenic Hatta Mountain, located just 1.5 hours from Dubai, will turn into a regional ecotourism center this year.
The UAE government will develop nature tourism in these places and build infrastructure for active travelers. The development of the territory will be handled by a major Dubai developer - Meraas.
The first project will be a huge inscription HATTA at an altitude of 450 meters, right on the slopes of the Hajar Mountains. Of course, she will refer all tourists to the famous Hollywood inscription and will welcome everyone entering the town.
It is also planned to build 20 mountain chalets, where tourists can merge with nature. Of course, it will not do without camping near the local dam - overlooking the waterfall.
Later, various hospitality and retail facilities will be built, where tourists can get acquainted with the local culture, heritage and cuisine.
