A concert dedicated to the Egyptian music legend Abdel Halim Hafez will be held in Dubai on November 03. Abdel Halim Hafez was one of the most popular Egyptian singers and actors, not only in Egypt, but throughout the Middle East from the 1950s to the 1970s.
He is one of the four great people of Egyptian and Arabic music. His voice and music still play and sound daily on the radio in Egypt and the Arab world. His name was El Andalib El Asmar, which literally means "dark nightingale" in Russian. He is known worldwide as the "Arabian (Arabian) Elvis."
