KICKED OUT FOR SEVERAL YEARS BACK TO THE LEADERS OF THE AUTOMOBILE INDUSTRY, AUDI WITH EVERY NEW MACHINE PROVES ITS RIGHT TO EXCELLENCE.

At first I did not like the new Audi TT Coupe. Small, tough, sharp. It took about fifteen minutes to master the panel, and given the fact that at that time I was driving around the city with heavy traffic, it only made me nervous.

Therefore, the next time I got 100 km / behind the wheel without any enthusiasm. However, this time the little TT decided to surprise me. As soon as you master the dashboard, everything falls into place. The maneuverability of the coupe, especially at sharp turns, was delighted, there was no roll at all, and no matter what speed was set at the entrance to the turn.

The quattro all-wheel drive made driving controlled, precise and exciting. It seemed that the passion for speed was the dominant idea of ​​the creators of the new Audi TT. To 100 km / h TT accelerated in 5 seconds, and starting from a traffic light, I left the rest of the cars behind with lightning speed. The only thing I could not understand for a long time was why orange bulbs periodically blink on the side mirrors, and these were not turn signals. It seemed to me that I was doing something wrong or some tricky mode unknown to me was turned on.

Until finally I realized that in this way the car warned of interference on the right or left. Over time, this function, given the low fit of the body, proved to be very convenient.

It makes no sense to mention wireless synchronization with all possible gadgets, including iPhone or iPad, or an automatic parking system with obstacle displays - these functions are in order today, and any car brand will lose a ton of customers if they miss them. But about the Bang & Olufsen sound system built into the latest TT (though, as an option), I want to say separately.

Twelve speakers with a total power of 680 watts (!) Output gave the purest 3D-sound. And the bass waves from the 14-channel amplifier spread throughout the cabin, leaving an almost physical sensation. Given the aggressive nature of the car, I didn’t want to listen to something calm, so when I turned on the last 30 Seconds to Mars disc, I felt almost at the stadium. Connoisseurs of good sound will understand me: listening to the purest sound with powerful bass is a pleasure.

And from what surprised me. Having left the city for secluded tracks, to drive and test the engine at full power, I was pleasantly surprised by the operation of the automatic headlight high-beam control system. With the high beam on, the TT itself determined when an oncoming car appeared on the horizon and turned on the dipped beam. As soon as the car passed, the track was immediately lit up 500 meters ahead. A trifle, but nice.

The interior of the third generation TT concern from Ingoldstadt made Spartan concise, but stylish. The cabin is essentially only two places. No one can fit in the back, so the only benefit from the second row is the bag shelf. But in the trunk it is quite possible to put a couple of suitcases, and if you fold the back row, then a folding bike. There is no spare wheel - they got rid of it for the sake of weight loss, because for a real sports coupe, not only power is important, but also excellent handling.

In technical terms, the car is extremely interesting. A powerful engine with high torque, an S-tronic gearbox, innovative adaptable Audi magnetic ride shock absorbers, a rigid aluminum and steel body, as well as dual tailpipes - all indicate that the Audi TT Coupe is a real noble breed sports car. This is a serious, extreme car. It provokes, turning even the calmest driver into a road bully, reveling in the euphoria of speed. What is most terrible, this condition is addictive. Finally, I’ll say that I didn’t want to part with TT. Small, playful, powerful, stylish. Do you need anything else?
