Dubai-based construction company Meydan has announced the launch of the Meydan One project. As part of the new project, the longest indoor ski track 1.2 km long, the largest dancing fountain and the tallest residential building in the world will be built. On the territory of the district there will also be a marina for 100 yachts.
A feature of the shopping center will be a retractable roof measuring 150x80 m, which will open in the cool winter months. In the open area of the sports complex, it is planned to equip football fields, tracks for mountain bike lovers, hiking and jogging tracks and a BMX park for extreme sports. The area of the sports complex will be 25,000 square meters.
The construction was approved by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Prime Minister, Vice President of the UAE and ruler of Dubai.
