Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi visits Russia

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of the United Arab Emirates, made a two-day visit to Moscow, where he met with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan led a representative delegation consisting of members of the government and heads of state-owned companies. The meeting was held on the sidelines of the International Aviation and Space Salon MAKS-2015, in the city of Zhukovsky near Moscow. The Russian leader thanked the crown prince and noted that he, as a military pilot, should be especially interested in visiting the cabin.

Together they watched the official opening of the cabin, circumvented the exposition, and also boarded the new MI-38 luxury helicopter. In addition, the meeting touched upon the development of the economic and political situation in the Middle East, including Syria, Egypt and Yemen. Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan led a representative delegation consisting of members of the government and heads of large state-owned companies.

During the visit, Mubadala Petroleum also held talks on joint development of Siberian oil fields in cooperation with the Russian state corporation Rosneft.
