WORLD ART DUBAI WILL PRESENT ACCESSIBLE WORKS OF PAINTING FROM COLLECTIONS OF REGIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL GALLERIES.About 80 galleries from around the world will take part in the World Art Dubai art fair, which will be held for the first time at the Dubai International Trade Center from April 8 to 11 and will bring together at one site affordable masterpieces by contemporary regional and international authors.
As planned, the fair should present affordable paintings from collections of regional and international galleries and open new horizons for young masters. The global challenge is to develop the artistic environment in Dubai to the level of New York or Paris. It is expected that the first of its kind show will be visited by numerous art connoisseurs, whose main task will be to replenish their collections. In addition to painting at the fair will be collected works made in related genres - sculptures, prints, photographs and much more. Contemporary Russian art at World Art Dubai will be presented by the TNK Art Russian gallery, one of the most active participants in the artistic life of Moscow.
The track record includes “tours” at Art Shanghai 2012, International Art Salon in Portuguese 2014, Art Stage Singapore 2015 and India Art Fair 2015. “Participation in World Art Dubai - one of the largest international salons, will allow us to get acquainted with the emerging art market of the region, expand cooperation with leading gallery owners and major collectors, introduce the public to contemporary Russian art, ”the gallery noted. It is planned that the works of such Russian authors as Andrei Zhevakin, Vladimir Hamkov and Vladimir Sevostyanov will be presented at the fair. Their works are exhibited in city museums in Russia and are stored in private collections.
