AIGNER COMPANY IS ONE OF THE RECOGNIZED MASTERS FOR Sewing LEATHER ACCESSORIES. HER FOUNDER Etienne Anye once created HAUTE COUTURE products in his NEW YORK STUDIO SPECIALLY FOR THE DIOR AND CHRISTOBAL BALENCIAGES, AND THE HOUSE WAS AN ATTENTION CENTER FOR THE FASHIONABLE ELITE. SIBIL CHOEN, CHIEF EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR AIGNER, TOLD US HOW GERMAN BRAND IS GOING TO DEVELOP.

How has Aigner developed in recent years?

Sybil: We returned to the original origins, but used them for a more modern interpretation of the Aigner style. Our story has helped us create aesthetically beautiful and practical things. For example, when Anye moved from his native Hungary to New York, he did not have money for dyes and persistently used Chianti dry wine extract. We are still creating original Saddle Leather bags in red wine and taking part in Milan Fashion Week.

What makes Aigner different?

Sybil: Aigner is a modern luxury brand specializing in leather goods. Our credo is impeccable quality. Fans of Aigner are connoisseurs of tradition and timeless style.

Tell us about the chief designer.

Sibil: Our chief designer Christian Alexander Beck is the face of the brand. He knows how to show the characteristics of Aigner every time in a new way. Christian knows how to achieve the perfect symbiosis of the brand’s DNA with today's spirit of the times.

What does the Cybill bag so named for you mean to you? What is most important for you as a woman in such a necessary accessory?

Sybil: The Cybill handbag is one of Aigner's latest accessories in recent seasons. She emphasizes Italian craftsmanship and meets the requirements of a businesswoman and fashionistas. This fall, the handbag is presented in black, red, blue and brown colors.

The bag is suitable for any occasion. For me, Cybill is a great companion in any situation and a faithful girlfriend!

You were able to take the company to a new level, because today Aigner is an easily recognizable brand, and sales with your arrival have tripled. Are you satisfied with the result?

Sybil: Of course, we are proud of our result. However, our biggest rival is ourselves.

Our company wants to strengthen the success of collections in the markets of Europe and the USA, as well as try new platforms for sales. In addition, we will gradually change and improve the brand image in the coming years. The Internet is our focus today, both from the marketing side and from the point of view of product presentation in the web space. We are always open to new opportunities and know-how.

Tell us about your plans for the future.

Sibil: For us now, the most important thing is the constant growth of the brand and the development of new collections. I am sure our fans will be surprised!
