Dubai will build the largest embankment with a length of 14 km

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, vice president, prime minister of the UAE and ruler of Dubai, agreed on a project for the construction of the Jumeirah Embankment. It stretches for 14 km along the coast of the Persian Gulf, from Dubai Marine Beach Resort to the famous Burj Al Arab, and will be the longest in the emirate. According to the order of the ruler of Dubai, construction should be completed within one year. Pedestrian boulevards and jogging paths will be equipped on the promenade.

Sheikh Mohammed noted that sport is a necessary element in the life of the nation, allowing to maintain its health and well-being. He also noted that people with an active life position are more prone to creativity and innovative thinking. In order to encourage local residents, the authorities will actively develop the sports infrastructure of the emirate. It is worth clarifying that a large number of squares and recreational areas intended for family vacations will be equipped on the new embankment. Here you can engage in jogging, swimming, rowing and other water sports.
