Alcohol

DUBAI IS A MUSLIM COUNTRY WHERE THERE ARE SPECIFIC RULES FOR ALCOHOL:

Alcohol is prohibited for Muslims.

The ban does not apply to adult visitors if they do not practice Islam.

It is allowed to import into Dubai 4 liters of alcohol in containers with a capacity of not more than 1 liter (or 24 cans of beer) per adult non-Muslim.

Alcoholic drinks are served in hotels, as well as in club restaurants and bars; there are also in hotel minibars.

At the same time, drinking alcohol (including beer) is not allowed in public places (on the street, in shopping centers and parks, a public beach, etc.).

Naturally, it is unacceptable to drive after taking alcohol.

After visiting a bar, disco or restaurant where alcohol is served, it is not recommended to walk around the streets or visit other public places, it is more correct to return to your hotel using a taxi.

The transport of alcohol from one emirate to another is considered smuggling even though there is no official border between the emirates.
