The hotel complex "Eastern Mangroves" began receiving guests in Abu Dhabi

Tourism Development and Investment Company (TDIC) Abu Dhabi has expanded its portfolio of hospitality facilities with the opening of a new Eastern Mangroves hotel complex in the capital of the United Arab Emirates.

It will be controlled by the Anantara operator. Ahmed Al Fahim, TDIC Executive Director for Marketing, Communications, Sales and Leasing, noted that this hotel, designed for business travelers, is of strategic importance for the company. In addition, it occupies an advantageous location: on the one hand, near mangroves that stretch 1.2 km along the border of the city, and on the other, in transport accessibility from the center of the capital. "We are very lucky with the location. This is the only real estate in Abu Dhabi available for living with windows overlooking the mangroves," Al Fahim said.

In addition to the hotel with 222 rooms, the complex also includes a residential area and a retail complex, which will be commissioned before the end of the year. The representative of the department also noted that the demand for real estate and hospitality, which the company is building, exceeded their expectations. “In other projects, we saw an increase in demand for real estate. We launched the St. Regis apartment complex and sold almost 90% of the property in three months, which indicates the high needs of the client, despite the market being oversaturated. The demand is, first of all, a good location and well-made facilities, "Al Fahim also explained. The Eastern Mangroves Hotel & Spa complex is the third facility of the company, which it implements in partnership with the operator Anantara. It is planned that its occupancy rate will be 40% in the first year of operation and will exceed 50% in the next.
