Many citizens are interested in issues related to obtaining entry visas to the Russian Federation for their relatives and friends. We highlight the most relevant of them.

Question: I would like to apply for a visa for my children who are not citizens of Russia for joint entry into the territory of the Russian Federation. Can such a visa be double or multiple?

Answer: A visa for joint entry is only a single entry and is issued for a period of up to three months. A double entry visa is issued only in case of visiting the Kaliningrad region. At the same time, we draw your attention to the fact that it is necessary to provide the consular department with the originals of the birth certificates of the children with the translation, the originals of foreign passports, fill out visa application forms (for each child, a separate application form) and photographs (one for the applicant). Duration of consideration - 10 business days from the date of filing.

Question: I would like to invite my foreign friend to Russia. What needs to be done for this?

Answer: The first way is to contact the FMS of Russia office at your place of residence to issue a special invitation on the form of the migration service. The process takes about three weeks and requires financial guarantees from the inviting party. The second way is to arrange a tourist voucher at one of the accredited travel companies or a hotel in Russia. In both cases, the original documents are required to obtain a visa. It is important to know that if you invite a friend, a visa for joint entry is not possible. Joint entry is issued for children as well as spouses, subject to the availability of the required documents.

Question: I have no opportunity to issue an invitation to the FMS for my foreign husband. How then to get a visa?

Answer: You must provide the original marriage certificate, passport of a foreign spouse, as well as your internal and foreign passports. In this case, it is necessary to come to the consular department in person to speak with the consul.

Question: I am a citizen of Russia, my husband is a foreigner. My child is 14 years old. Can I obtain Russian citizenship?

Answer: In this case, it is possible to receive Russian citizenship in a simplified manner in accordance with Art. 14, part 6 of paragraph "a" of the Federal Law "On Citizenship of the Russian Federation". However, for children from 14 to 18 years of age, when applying for citizenship, in addition to providing the consent of the parent of the foreigner, a notarized consent of the child is necessary. In addition, in this case, the documents are sent for verification to the competent authorities. The procedure may take 2-3 months from the date of filing. Admission to Russian citizenship in a simplified manner is not possible for adult citizens. You can get information on the adoption of Russian citizenship by adult citizens on the website of the Russian Embassy in the UAE (www.uae.mid.ru / pr-vgr2.html).

Answer: In accordance with applicable regulatory legal acts, on the basis of applications from citizens from the territory of the Russian Federation, repeated certificates of civil registration from the civil registry offices of Russia, as well as documents relating to information about labor activity (including studies), and work experience are recruited , wages and military service from the Federal Archives.

Question: If you require a second marriage certificate from Russia, how long can the document take to Abu Dhabi?

Answer: According to established standards, the process of obtaining official documents from the territory of the Russian Federation takes up to 4-5 months, in some cases this period can be extended up to 7-8 months.

Question: I need to notarize an agreement on the sale of an apartment in Russia. Can I contact the consular section of the embassy for this?

Answer: According to the legislation of the Russian Federation, the consul does not certify contracts related to the alienation of property, namely: contracts for the sale, gift, barter and pledge of real estate located on the territory of the Russian Federation.

Question: I currently live and work in the UAE. My passport has expired. Is it possible to draw up a new document without leaving the country?

Answer: The procedure for issuing a foreign passport of a Russian citizen is described on the website of the Russian Embassy in the UAE in the section "Passport Issues" (www.uae.mid.ru / pasp_vopr.html). However, due to the fact that your passport has ceased to be a valid document, you must provide one of the following documents: the original of a valid internal passport of a citizen of the Russian Federation, a military ID or birth certificate with a note of Russian citizenship. In the absence of all of the above documents, the consular department checks citizenship by sending a request to the competent authorities of the Russian Federation.
