The only sea turtle rehabilitation project in Dubai has been successfully implemented since 2004 in collaboration with the Jumeirah marine biologists team and the World Wildlife Conservation Organization, with the support of the Dubai Falcon Hospital and Central Veterinary Research Laboratory.

Sea turtles, washed ashore as a result of an accident or illness, undergo treatment for several months. As a rule, it consists in determining the disease of the turtle, restoring its physical condition and then releasing it in its native sea element. In the past year alone, 250 sea turtles have undergone a rehabilitation course. More information can be found at: www.jumeirah.com/turtles
