Wing Chun martial art studied at martial arts school in Dubai

The founder and trainer of the Universal Martial Arts school in Dubai, Kubanychbek Torobaev, who teaches oriental martial arts jit-kun-do guys of all ages and representatives of the Dubai police, returned from Hong Kong in September 2008, where he attended a course of martial arts lessons with his teacher and met a friend of Bruce Lee who celebrated his 83rd birthday.

Surely only martial arts experts know that the legendary Bruce Lee was trained in Wing Chun techniques. The style of Wing Chun emerged from Shaolin Kung Fu and its basic tactical concepts are not only not similar to the Shaolins Quan, but rather directed against it.

"The martial art of Vin Chun (Vin Chun Kuen) was created solely for practical purposes in order to defeat the enemy in the fastest and safest way," says Kubanychbek Torobaev. - "This is a practical, strictly scientific and compact system, built on logic and constant impartial analysis of the theory and practice of a real duel."

According to the trainer, the most important point in Wing Chun is not the opposition of force against force, which allows a fighter to defeat physically stronger opponents. “In Wing Chun, a person practicing martial arts will find ways to use the strength of his opponent against himself,” explains Kubanychbek. "The development of physical strength is welcome (as in any contact martial arts), but it is not the main factor in training. The basis of Wing Chun is precisely the technical actions that lead to victory."

Kubanychbek Torobaev is an expert and trainer of many other martial arts, such as: taekwon-do, jitkun-do and so on. Today, at his school Universal Martial Arts in Dubai, you can start to engage in the art of Wing Chun. “In a relatively short time, the learner masters the basic principles of the basic technique,” says the trainer.
