Dubai authorities have introduced a new service "smart" parking. The Dubai Traffic and Transportation Authority (RTA) has launched a new intelligent service that will allow drivers to transfer a parking card from one vehicle to another through the RTA Dubai app.
The "smart parking" service will allow parking card holders to link a car to use a parking space at any time, "the RTA statement reads.
“The RTA is always striving to bring its systems and services into line with the strategy of the transition of Dubai’s authorities to the Smart Government. This measure is in line with Dubai’s aspirations to become the smartest city in the world,” said Maifa bin Adai, Head of Department Traffic RTA.
"The main task of the new service is to automate the binding of a parking card from one vehicle to another," said the head.
