The first 20 expats received 10-year visas in the UAE

The UAE Government awarded the first 20 long-term visas to expatriate scientists.

Dubai, UAE. The Government of the United Arab Emirates issued the first long-term visas to the winners and finalists of the Muhammad bin Rashid Scientific Achievement Competition, based on a previous decision to turn the country into an incubator for talent and innovation.

Commenting on the decision, Sarah Bint Yusif Al Amiri, Minister of State for Advanced Sciences, noted: “The granting of long-term visas to scientists and researchers is a reflection of the vision of the UAE leaders to strengthen the country's position as a direction for creative minds and talents. We are joining our efforts to turn the UAE into a global science hub and provide a favorable climate for the development of the scientific community. "

10-year visas received 20 winners of the competition - scientists and researchers. It is worth recalling that the UAE government has decided to issue visas for 10 years to specialists in the field of medical, technical sciences and research, scientists and innovators, as well as outstanding students.
