In the United Arab Emirates, gas prices rose again

The United Arab Emirates announced an increase in fuel prices next month.

The cost of fuel at gas stations throughout the UAE will rise for the fourth consecutive month in June.

The Price Committee announced a price increase of more than 3 percent for some brands of gasoline.

The cost of a Super 98 liter will increase by 2% to AED 2.53 ($ US 0.69). Liter Special 95 expects the biggest increase - by 3.4% - to 2.42 dirhams ($ 0.66). Diesel will cost AED 2.56 ($ US 0.7).

The increase in fuel prices this year is against the backdrop of rising world oil prices.
