Rolls-Royce Wraith: the debut of the most powerful car in the history of the brand

AGMC - a dealer of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars in Dubai, Sharjah and the Northern Emirates - held in Dubai the presentation of the most powerful and dynamic car in the history of the brand - Rolls-Royce Wraith.

It has everything that is associated with Rolls-Royce: luxury, elegance, impeccable manual assembly. But in addition to the qualities traditional for the world famous brand, this model has a special character - powerful, bold, sporty! Traditionally, Rolls-Royce limousines are created for those who are sitting in the passenger seat. The new Wraith was conceived as a car for those who like to drive luxury cars on their own.

Despite the solid weight of 2.3 tons, Rolls-Royce Wraith demonstrates impressive dynamics. The engine, paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission ZF, equipped with a V12 engine with two turbines and boosted to 624 liters, accelerates the car from zero to 100 km / h in an incredible 4.4 seconds (for comparison: Rolls-Royce Ghost with a power of 563 liters. squeezes 100 km / h in 4.9 s).

The transmission of the Wraith model is innovative, it is supplemented by the Satellite Aided Transmission system and, using GPS, is able to predict the choice of transmission depending on the type of road surface. For maximum convenience, digital communication devices in the car are voice-controlled. Driver assistance systems are activated when necessary and instantly go into standby mode when their services are not required.

The “swift” Rolls-Royce Wraith profile, the smoothly descending roofline, its tense, confident shape and the sloping rear window - all this makes the car look like a champion athlete who froze at a low start. The dynamics are felt in the deeply recessed grille, in the widely spaced wheels and even in the two-tone body color.

Opening the door of the Rolls-Royce Wraith, you find yourself in a luxurious salon - the kingdom of the softest leather and natural wood trim Canadel Panelling, named after the famous bay in the south of France, where Sir Henry Royce himself and his team of engineers spent the winter months. Natural wood panels look modern and pleasant to the touch.

Located along the entire length of the cabin, they seem to radiate heat, light, comfort and give them to passengers. Finishing the interior gives the ceiling trim that mimics the starry sky - an exclusive option previously available only to owners of Phantom models. 1340 fiber optic bulbs are manually woven into the ceiling covering, creating the effect of twinkling stars in the night sky.

The wide gauge of the rear wheels, the shortened base and the lowered roofline contribute to a more dynamic and emotional driving style. The Wraith suspension is designed to minimize body roll and enhance the sense of road in sharp bends. The steering wheel becomes heavier at high speeds and lighter at low speeds, which makes driving even more comfortable and exciting. Wraith is not a classic brutal GT, its maneuverability is improved without sacrificing comfort: it travels smoothly, as if hovering on an air cushion.

Another achievement in the field of digital automotive technology has become the elegant and convenient rotary controller Spirit of Ecstasy. It allows you to navigate the on-screen menu using the touch panel. Letters can be "written" on the touch panel, and not select from a list on the screen.

The only “but” ... To become the owner of a supercar, you have to wait a bit: the first customers will receive Rolls-Royce Wraith in the third quarter of 2013
