Humanitarian Oscar by Angelina Jolie

In Hollywood, the fifth Governors Awards ceremony was held, organized by the American Film Academy of Arts and Sciences. This award is unofficially called the Humanitarian Oscar. Stars such as Tom Hanks, Harrison Ford, Emma Thompson, Matthew McConaughey, Jake Gyllenhaal, Colin Farrell with their sister Claudine, Mark Wahlberg, Ben Stiller, Jared Leto, Jennifer Garner and many others were noted at the ceremony. Of particular interest were Angelina Jolie, her common-law spouse Brad Pitt and their adopted son Maddox. Angelina received an honorary Oscar for her charity work. She is a Goodwill Ambassador for the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees. She established several charitable foundations.

For publication, Angelina chose an exquisite black "floor" dress, decorated with brilliant appliqués and a modest neckline. Her hair was pulled into a low bun. Of the jewelry, the actress preferred laconic earrings with a diamond insert. Jolie's makeup was more than modest. To match his wife was Brad Pitt. To the delight of his many fans, the actor cut his hair, immediately as if rejuvenated for several years. The artist stepped on the red carpet in a black tuxedo and in a bow-tie. In the exact same costume was their adopted son, 12-year-old Maddox. In addition to Angelina Jolie, honorary awards went to 88-year-old actress Angela Lansbury and 68-year-old actor Steve Martin, who already has three Oscars in his piggy bank.
